Once you have seen your patient and consider a PETCT scan appropriate, you will need to complete our referral form and then forward it to your local ARSAC (Administration of Radioactive Substances Advisory Committee) certificate holder. They will complete the referral by authorising the form and sending it directly to our Patient Referral Centre. We will deliver a report of the PETCT scan to the referring clinician within 48 business hours of the investigation.
For all the forms and information you need to refer today, go to Referring Your Patient.
Our reporting partners provide a full reporting service, including a monthly 10% independent audit. We employ only fully accredited UK based NHS Radiologists who have all reported on at least 300 PETCT scans in the previous 12 months. All reporters are NHS employees. From scan to report will only take two business days.
Images are transferred, together with clinical information, and the scans reported and reports returned electronically. The latest techniques for data security are used ensuring a confidential and secure service.
