Training and Development

InHealth places a high priority on training and education. A 'Training & Education' programme exists to provide support and development for company staff, equipping and empowering them to perform their roles effectively. Our focus on training also ensures that our staff remain committed to delivering the highest standards of care.

In addition to internal courses, InHealth is strongly committed to the support of staff wishing to pursue relevant personal study. The concept of continuing professional development is actively encouraged and supported.

InHealth Essential Training

Essential Training Days: InHealth staff attend these events annually, receiving training in key skills such as 'Basic Life Support' and 'Safe Moving & Handling'.

Postgraduate Training Programme

The InHealth Postgraduate Training Programme allows recent graduates to learn the MRI modality through a combination of structured practical experience and taught theory. Each postgraduate trainee is supported by a workplace coach and professional mentor and they have their own personal training and development programme. Through formal courses, e-learning and mentoring the postgraduates fast-track their skills in MRI.

Based at one of our many static MRI facilities, postgraduate trainees carry out hands-on practical MRI training on first class equipment under the supervision of our highly experienced senior radiographers. During the 15 month programme postgraduate trainees attend in-house training workshops, undertake Immediate life support training and train towards the College of Radiographers Certificate in Intravenous Administration of Contrast Agents.

Postgraduates or final year students who have completed or are about to complete a Radiography degree course can apply for consideration into the InHealth Postgraduate Training Programme. For more information please email us at or call 01494 560000.

Applications for up to 10 candidates are considered from May for commencement on the programme in September of each year.
