Who we are
InHealth is more than a provider of mobile breast screening units – we are a full NHS Breast Screening partner offering staffed and unstaffed mobile services, remote film reading, training and education, consultancy and much more. Every aspect of our work is driven by compassion, quality, and extensive experience.
We serve approximately 100,000 women each year, conduct over 4,000 assessments, and make more than 1,500 MDT referrals. Our reach covers regions including North and East Devon (NED), and Surrey and North East Hampshire (SNEH), reinforcing our status as a trusted partner in the NHS. State-of-the-art Mobile Breast Screening units
Our mobile units are designed for comfort, compliance and modern clinical standards. Equipped with the latest mammography technology and 5G connectivity, these units support seamless IT integration and rapid image transfer. Our operational planning team works around the clock to ensure efficient deployment and service delivery, offering virtual tours and interior journeys to showcase our capabilities.
Staffed Mobile Solutions
We help NHS Trusts address screening backlogs, manage surges and bridge recruitment gaps with tailored solutions for both screening and symptomatic support. All services are led by fully qualified Radiographers, aligned with NHSBSP guidance and underpinned by robust governance to ensure safety and effectiveness.
Training, Education & Consultancy
InHealth offers comprehensive training and education programmes, including the Jarvis Training School and Level 4 & 5 mammography apprenticeships, actively addressing national skills shortages. Our consultancy services provide structured reviews and actionable outcomes to solve complex service challenges.
Remote Film Reading
We deliver secure IT pathways for remote film reading, supporting mandated 14-day turnaround times. All reads are conducted by qualified radiologists, ensuring accuracy and reliability through both first and second-line reviews, backed by live on-screen demonstrations.
Dedicated Support and Maintenance
Our operational reliability is unmatched, with support available from 8am to 8pm, 7 days a week. We guarantee over 98% service availability, employ OEM-trained engineers and offer rapid response times under four hours. Preventative maintenance and online service access ensure continuous performance, supported by a 24/7 mobile planning team.
IT & Connectivity
Our mobile units operate on mains or generator power and feature “comms in a box” technology with 4G/5G support. Secure, real-time image transfers are facilitated through VPN into NBSS and Trust PACS. We assist with IT configuration, testing and DPIA support, making digital integration straightforward and secure.
