Our Cardiac services
InHealth is a leading provider of non interventional, diagnostic cardiac services to the NHS.
These range from a number of physiological studies of the heart and blood vessels such as 12 lead ECGs, Holter monitors (also known as 24hr ECGs), Blood Pressure Monitoring as well as 24hr Blood Pressure Monitoring, BNP, to diagnostic imaging of the heart such as Cardiac MRI and Cardiac CT.
An ECG can assess how well the heart is working by recording the signals it sends out during each heartbeat.
BNP measures the level of Brain Natruiretic Peptide released by the heart when the ventricles are stretched.
Cardiac MRI detects/monitors cardiac disease, measures function and evaluates the heart’s anatomy and function in patients with congenital heart disease.
A Cardiac CT is an imaging test that uses X rays to take many detailed pictures of the heart and its blood vessels in patients with chest pain.

Cardiac MRI
First class clinical quality is the foundation upon which all our services are designed and delivered and we operate the largest fleet of 1.5 Tesla MRI scanners in the UK, and the highest specification scanners in Europe with Cardiac enabled Siemens Avantos and Cardiac Wide Bore GE Signa Voyagers.
Our mobile Cardiac MRI services are situated on purpose built fully air-conditioned trailers fitted with lifts to ensure optimal clinical safety and easy accessibility for all patients. They are operated from the host site main supply or from a mobile generator when required.
Cardiac CT
InHealth offers static and mobile CT solution which includes a fleet of Toshiba, Philips and Siemens scanners which acquire volumetric data at high speed with unsurpassed image quality, enhancing throughput and patient comfort.
We are committed to providing customers and patients with the latest technology and equipment and delivered the world’s first mobile cardiac capable 128 slice CT scanner and now uses Toshiba 160 slice CT scanners. This provides a real alternative to more invasive procedures and acquires high-resolution three dimensional images of coronary arteries and calcium scoring to images of the coronary arteries to determine if they are blocked or narrowed by the build up of plaque -an indicator for atherosclerosis or coronary artery disease.
