In Health is committed to delivering a high quality and reliable X-ray service. We are ISO and CQC registered and therefore subject to rigorous audit and testing of our processes at all stages of the patient pathway, from referral to report.
The management and operation of every X-ray unit is undertaken by a highly trained, experienced team of professionals providing excellent standards of patient care and customer satisfaction.
Our X-ray staff regularly attend specialist courses to keep up-to-date with the latest advances and maintain Continuous Professional Development (CPD) training levels.
InHealth operates a mobile fleet of scanners giving patients access to industry-leading scan equipment either at a hospital site or other suitable off-site location. We continue to invest in our X-ray facilities, so we can offer patients rapid access to state-of-the-art equipment and high-quality services.
An X-ray from InHealth involves positioning the area of the body that is going to be examined between an X-ray device and a digital plate.
X-rays pass through the body and are absorbed by the tissues they pass through. Different parts of the body absorb different amounts of X-rays depending on how dense they are. In the final image, dense structures such as bone appear white and less dense structures such as the lungs appear black.
The image is then passed to a Radiologist or Reporting Radiographer who will interpret the image and provide findings to the referring clinician.
Patients attending a diagnostic appointment with InHealth, can find out more information about what to expect from the Informed Scan website, here.
There is also a section on Radiation Risk for anyone attending CT, DEXA, X-Ray, Cardiac and Mammography appointments.
We offer a fantastic benefits package, and have an innovative approach to personal and professional development, helping you to be the best version of yourself and giving you a real career pathway.
