InHealth shortlisted as a finalist for the HSJ Partnership Awards 2023

We are delighted to announce that alongside our NHS partners Barts Health NHS Trust, we have been shortlisted for ‘Best Healthcare Provider Partnership with the NHS’ at the HSJ Partnership Awards 2023.

Being shortlisted for an HSJ Partnership Award recognises outstanding dedication to improving healthcare and effective collaboration with the NHS, giving our teams the

confidence in our partnership project and allowing the hard work to be nationally recognised.

The HSJ Partnership Awards recognise and honour the most effective partnerships, innovative projects and collaborations in the UK health system. The prestigious award programme, now in its sixth year, is not just a celebration of success stories but also a platform to shape the future of our new integrated health and care system.

The judging panel comprised a diverse range of highly regarded figures across the NHS and wider healthcare sector. To be shortlisted as a finalist for these awards, despite tough competition from a pool of brilliant applications, is a mark of real achievement for InHealth and Barts Health NHS Trust.

Our partnership PET-CT project was designed to showcase how fantastic collaboration between the NHS and Independent Sector can bring life changing benefits to patients by providing excellent care, closer to home, in state-of-the-art facilities.

Barts Health NHS Trust provides services for over 2.5m people across the City of London and three boroughs, with the Trust covering East and North East London in particular providing access to PET-CT scanning for cancer patients of the local population. With the same core values at the heart of both organisations, in 2017, the Trust and InHealth recognised that by working together, we could design and build a brand-new mobile unit tailored to the requirements of the Trust and the consultant radiologists, with the latest scanning enhancements and technology at the forefront of the vision for the Trust patients.

InHealth’s investment in the infrastructure, equipment and staffing of the PET-CT services; combined with their expertise in design, project management and specialist large-scale build projects, has enabled the Trust to use scarce people, capital and cash resources elsewhere for the benefit of our geographically dispersed patient population.

Ralph Toop, Director of PET-CT at InHealth said: “We are delighted to have been shortlisted for this award, recognising the collaborative efforts and dedication of our teams. We are committed to delivering improved outcomes for patients, and to be chosen among the other incredible nominees is a wonderful achievement.  This nomination has been a tremendous boost to both to our team and our NHS partner at Barts Health NHS Trust and I am sure it will bolster our continued efforts to improve” The winners will be selected following a rigorous judging stage ahead of the HSJ Partnership Awards 2023 awards ceremony. The awards evening is expected to be attended by national healthcare leaders and professionals from both the NHS and private sector as well as figures from non-clinical backgrounds to celebrate innovation and collaboration in healthcare.
