This notable accreditation verifies that Prime Endoscopy Bristol meets rigorous, high-quality standards, which are used across the UK (and Republic of Ireland) to support the improvement of endoscopy services. These standards have been developed by a multi-professional group of clinicians, managers and service users and the accreditation programme is run by the Royal College of Physicians, who are dedicated to improving quality of care.

By participating in the JAG programme, Prime Endoscopy Bristol ensures that every patient receives high quality care as we continue to deliver our endoscopy services.

Within the final report, the JAG assessment team congratulated our talented endoscopy team on demonstrating excellent achievements in the following areas:

• Strong commitment to patient experience, offering a bright, calming and dignified environment

• Allowing patients to practice their religion with respect

• Their enthusiasm and caring nature when attending to patients, with a clear commitment to clinical training and development.

• Assessors also commended Prime Endoscopy Bristol’s success in the promotion of staff wellbeing and maintaining a health work life balance embedded into the unit’s culture

Since achieving the accreditation, the Prime Endoscopy Bristol team have been on cloud 9 and the recognition from being JAG accredited has boosted the units morale massively.
